I like how photography can have a deep symbolism and deliver a larger message than the literal interpretation of what has been photographed.

I really like these photos. But based on a number of your other interests I am a little surprised with your artistic sensibility. But I shouldn’t be surprised because I’m quite a bit that way. I was an inventor and designer of weapons and equipment, a lawyer, and I am color blind. None of these are generally considered artistic pursuits/conditions. Yet I still appreciate form, arrangement, and in this case, the will of life to overcome whatever obstacle presented it. It makes me wonder what you have overcome? Is your sensitivity to music as well developed?
Hi James,
Thanks for your comment! Frankly, I don’t know if my sensitivity is developed at all. But I think that “analytical vs artistic personality” is a false dichotomy that people often voluntarily impose on themselves.
I had this idea back in 1974 but could never pull it off, great job.
That’s not me, I just re-posted the collection.
Very cool images.
